PR Account Manager:

£28k - £32k depending on experience

We would love to hear from any Senior Account Executives looking for a step up, experienced PR Account Managers or in-house communications executives, interested in joining our growing and dynamic PR consultancy.

We are seeking a highly motivated and confident communicator to join our experienced team of senior consultants and journalists to work across a mix of corporate and consumer clients – from the world’s largest law firm to world record breakers.  You will ideally have at least three years’ experience and a strong understanding of the UK media landscape.

Based at our office in Fountainbridge in Edinburgh and part home based this is a full-time role. But as a responsible employer who puts our people’s health and wellbeing first, we would be open to offering more flexible working arrangements depending on personal experiences, for example part-time or reduced hours for parents or carers or anyone looking for a better balance to their work and personal life.  We are open to hearing from people returning to work after a career break too.

We want an energetic and motivated person to join the team.  We strive to achieve great results for our clients and benefit from very positive working relationships.

Good writing and communications skills are a must, as well as being organised and having a positive outlook.  Our cup is always half full!

The role includes:

  • Content creation for clients from media pitches and press releases to blogs and social media posts
  • Identifying opportunities for clients, whether that be in the media, brand collaborations or influencers to engage with
  • Quickly responding to breaking news as it happens
  • Attending meetings and preparing reports
  • Maintaining media lists and networking with media contacts
  • Providing creative input into client campaigns
  • Support with new business proposals

There are opportunities to learn and develop through training and networking.  We support the mental health and wellbeing of our team through motivational talks, engaging team activities and the odd night out.
